St Osyth
St.Osyth at times can be a very good beach to fish. This is normally one of the first places Whiting appear in September/October time, and when they come they come in quite a few numbers!

During the summer a few bass are caught amongst the rocks down here, along with Eels, and the odd Thornback Ray and Dogfish.

If you can put up with the odd snag here and there, and the odd crab on the end of your hook, it is well worth a try.

Catch Reports

If your able and prepared to make the hike down to the bird sanctuary, then it really is worth it.

Codling and Whiting being the main species, but get the conditions right, and your in for a good session of fishing.

Occasional Stingray also show.

The first bays by the Sailor boy pub you catch Bass by the rocks, and also sole later in the season.
